Safari route
Day 1: Departure from the client's hotel in Dar es Salaam and the road to Mikumi (~6h). On the way, you can observe beautiful natural views, buy local fruits, as well as observe the color of the highway, because the road is a busy international highway with intense traffic, connecting the port of Dar es Salaam and areas in the west of the country, as well as economic and financial centers in neighboring countries. Arrival at the lodge, lunch, relaxation by the pool. In the afternoon, a visit to a Maasai village - traditional Maasai life, culture, traditions, laws, etc. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near the Mikumi National Park entrance gate.
Day 2: After breakfast, watching animal games, or as the locals say - game drive in Mikumi National Park. Lunch - picnic in the park under a baobab tree. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Mikumi village.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park (2h). In the park - mountain hike/trekking led by a ranger to Sanjes waterfall (~ 2h one way). The waterfall is 170 m high. After the climb - swimming in the waterfall pools. In the evening, return to Mikumi lodge - dinner, night's sleep.
Day 4: After breakfast, the road to Dar es Salaam (~6h). Lunch on the way. Arrival in Dar es Salaam in the afternoon and transfer to the client's hotel (or airport or ferry port).

About national parks:
Mikumi National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania. It is easily accessible from Dar es Salaam and also accessible during the rainy season. The park offers a landscape of plains and baobabs. Elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, etc. live in the territory of the park. You may even see a leopard, hyenas, and wild dogs.
Habitats within the Udzungwa Mountains National Park include tropical rainforests, montane forests, grasslands, steppes; more than 400 species of birds, 6 species of primates.
