About national parks:

Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Africa - more than 30,000 square kilometers. It is part of the former so-called Selous Game Reserve, so even today it is sometimes called Selous Park. The park is named after the first president of Tanzania, Julius Nyerere. The natural area in this park is bush, which is different from the savanna seen in other parks. The largest population of lions lives on the territory of the park, as well as buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, wild dogs, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, big kudu, etc. You may even see a leopard.

The Rufiji River is one of the largest rivers in Africa and the largest river in Tanzania. It is home to many crocodiles and hippos, as well as various birds.

Mikumi National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Tanzania. It is easily accessible from Dar es Salaam and also accessible during the rainy season. The park offers a landscape of plains and baobabs. Elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, etc. live in the territory of the park.
